Save the date for our 2017 Festival happening Oct. 26-29, and take advantage of our early bird registration opening August 18! We’ve got an exceptional event planned this fall including our renowned Present Tense lecture series, a new set of Medium Experiences taking you behind the scenes at museums and photography exhibitions across the city, and more exciting plans in store!

2017 Size Matters exhibition

Join us for the 3rd annual Size Matters exhibition, celebrating small works of art (sized less than 10″), curated this year by Katherine Ware. Submissions for the 2017 exhibition open July 1—plan to submit your work to the signature exhibition of the Medium Festival of Photography!

Summer means Medium events!

Join Medium this summer for a series of planned events, including:

July 25 – an exhibition reception in San Diego for our Second Sight Award recipients
Aug. 12 – a film screening offered through Group f.16
Sept. 18 – a seminar on collecting contemporary photography.
