The 2013 California Open Photo Show will be having a photography exhibit at The Loft Art Gallery in San Pedro, California.

This event is the second photography show curated by Paul Blieden and Jim McKinniss. This year’s event has been judged by Mark Comon. There are 35 talented photographers in the show this year.

The 2013 California Open Photos Show is also pleased  to announce the addition of The 2013 International Portrait Show. Both shows run concurrently at The Loft Gallery in San Pedro, California. The 2013 International Portrait Show brings together nine American and European photographers who have brought their own unique interpretations to the classic theme of the portrait.

Each artist in this show is a photographer who uses digital technology to create his or her art work. While some of the artists produce traditional portraits which are created on paper using inkjet printing techniques others use their graphic art skills or their knowledge of alternative photographic processes to produce their artwork which is then expressed in an inkjet print.

The Loft is located at 401 South Mesa Street, San Pedro, CA 90731.

The Loft phone number is 310-831-5757.

The reception will coincide with the San Pedro First Thursday art walk on June 6th, 2013 and will be open from 6:00pm to 9:30 pm. The show will also be open all Saturdays in July, 2013 between 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm. Wine and snacks will be served.
