Lomography Grand Opening Party in Los Angeles

Posted in Photographers, Photography by douglaspstockdale on February 13, 2010

For those who still do care about analog photography and are in Southern CA area, some interesting news.

February 18th, 2010 is the big date! That’s when the first Lomography Gallery Store and official Lomography Embassy will open its doors on the West Coast! To mark the event and usher in the new era of Lomography in Los Angeles, we are planning an epic celebration with an ocean of drinks, live Mariachi music, tacos and tamales, and even dancing girls! The festivities will begin at 7:00pm, and run until we are out of drinks! Space on the guestlist is limited, so to ensure you can join the party, send an RSVP to shopla@lomography.com now!

Lomography Arrives in Los Angeles with a New Store and Embassy!

The grand opening party is just the beginning, Angelinos. Get ready for the full Lomographic experience, as the new store will also be your meet-up spot, workshop location, gallery space, and feature the full line of Lomographic products and services.

Come in and paw that camera you’ve been dreaming about, pick up some film, and soon even drop off your film for processing! You’ll also be able to take part in workshops and exhibitions, or just come spend the afternoons or evenings chilling on our couches and talking shop with other Lomographers and friends!

We’ve got a ton of stuff planned for the coming year, and we hope you’ll take the ride with us!

Also check out their web site, here.

Best regards, Douglas Stockdale
